Okay - let me just TRY and balence things from that big, blonde wig picture - something a little more me. Well now, here I am strictly brunette in an Episcopal Chapel for a special Book Club meeting with the Shreveport Pulpwood Queens.

These ladies found this precious chapel with a great history and a beautiful story attached and what better place to talk about The Messenger of Magnolia Street. About the imagery of Recording Angels and age-old battles, of good friends, and love and miracles and forevers.
For those that are rambling around the Nashville area please come join us for wine and dessert at Landmark Booksellers, 114 East Main StreetFranklin, Tennessee, 615-791-6400 for the Paperback release party of Messenger. It's just around the corner - Thursday, March 29,
5-7pm We've set aside time to have a little conversation and celebration of the written word and the fun of hanging out in a bookstore with friends!
Hey - I was right - Spring REALLY WAS just around the corner even though it was 19 outside and the whole world in Nashville was sick with the flu - well you can come visit now because everyone including yours truly is WELL and the sun's been shining and those garden people have been out digging, spading, planning - and smiling!
For those of us -(see the golden hoe story) that don't garden so much we kinda have to pick up other Spring activities - so, the good people at Radio Free Nashville have been so gracious as to allow me to jump on the air. You can join in locally at WRFN -(low of power - big of heart!) in Pasquo, TN (the nashville area west side) or you can pick up the show LIVE on the internet Saturday's at 4pm Central. It's called Common Ground because, well, hey - don't you think it would be good if we all found some in a hurry? But we listen to a little music, and talk to some songwriters, and some poets, and some novelists, and some candlestick makers and astronaunts because we're all in this together baby and the universal truths are we all get heartbroken, we all hope, we all dream, we all work, and think of places like home and people that just aren't around anymore. We all have memories. And we all long for, need - something. So, join in at www.radiofreenashville.org and check back on the general website at www.riverjordanink.com where the Lord willing and the creek don't rise I'll keep the info updated.
Now, Mr. Wonderful is downstairs deeply desiring my presence on the sofa because hey, The Predators - Nashville's own proud 1rst place Hockey team is in the 3rd period of a close game and he needs me to help him help them win.
Hope to see you in Tennessee soonest and if not - catch me on the airwaves or on the road. I'll be looking for you!
