Prayer - it’s a simple word. A Divine word if you will. It may mean a lot of different things to different people but most of us pray in some way. Large or small. At some point in our lives. Or we certainly hope there is someone out there praying for us. In the last few years since Praying for Strangers was published a lot of people ask me many things about prayer. Or to pray for them. To add them to my list or ask if they can be my stranger for the day. Always room for one more stranger I tell them true. But there have been other questions. How do I pray for a stranger? How do I even begin this process if I would like to pray for strangers too? To that end I’ve created this Prayer Box. A resource or tool that I hope is something you can use. There are my simple answers to a few questions, Twelve Keys to Praying for Strangers, and even a 40 day Lenten Study that turned out to be 46 days long. I’ve also included a few links where people post prayer request because I find that on dark or dreary days, reading some of these and thinking of these people requesting prayer helps me to remember my blessings, to be thankful, and to continue praying for others. God Bless you on your journey into an intimate, and downright – real prayer life.
